HAPPY HUNTER was founded in 2012 in Hauz Khas, South Delhi, India.
Hiroko Ishii, the owner and tea buyer with 25 years of experience, has visited tea plantations all over India and tasted a wide selection of carefully selected tea leaves.
The tea that HAPPY HUNTER selects is carefully selected from tea plantations that strictly adhere to fair trade (tea cultivation) and the welfare of the people who work on the farms, and the tea leaves are purchased from all over India each season.
In addition, we deliver products made by Indian artisans to our customers along with the story behind how they were made.

What HAPPY HUNTER values: Building a bridge between "makers" and "buyers"
India has many skilled artisans.
However, many of them live in villages far from urban areas, do not have shops, or do not have the tools to sell.
HAPPY HUNTER visits the artisans' villages, promises continuous purchases, provides guidance on thorough quality control, and works together with the artisans to create their products.
For artisans, regular, continuous income gives them a sense of security for the future and leads to an improvement in their lives, especially in the quality of their children's education. Even if their work with HAPPY HUNTER ends, we believe that the quality control techniques they learned from HAPPY HUNTER will be recognized by their next buyer, and that their artisans will be able to find a buyer even after leaving HAPPY HUNTER.

HAPPY HUNTER itself is always trying to understand the needs of its customers, working with artisans to create products that will please buyers, and hoping to grow together.
