Classic Assam CTC is one of India's three most famous teas, and is delivered directly from the prestigious Halmari Tea Estate in the Upper Assam region of the Assam region in Northeastern India, which has won numerous awards around the world.
This black tea, blended exclusively for HAPPY HUNTER, is characterized by its mellow, deep richness and sweetness reminiscent of brown honey.
CTC stands for Clush, Tear, and Curl.
By breaking down the fibers of the tea leaves and rolling them to increase the surface area, the spherical tea leaves are extracted with a stronger color and flavor than regular tea leaves. This allows for a flavor and aroma that stands up to the milk and spices (masala) and makes delicious milk tea and masala chai.
